BLUE VEDDER ARE PUSHING HEAVY.

The Naarm/Melbourne alternative rock/shoegaze band formed in 2020 from a pile of demos in Seth Hancock’s bedroom. Shortly after, Lauren Eddy, Bryce Gardiner, and Colby Cross joined the venture. Their debut EP ‘Static’, drew the attention of shoegaze and alterative fans, gaining over 60k streams, and starting a growing community. Blue Vedder soon slipped onto the radar of triple j and simultaneously onto the main stage at Spilt Milk Festival 2022 as their Unearthed winner.

More meat on the bones than I expected. If it's shoegaze then the soles of it have seen a few long treks down gravel roads.” - Dave Ruby Howe (Triple J)

2023 saw the next chapter of Blue Vedder with a newer, modern sound that still captures the essence of their 90's predecessors. Their single ‘Leather’ attracted new fans worldwide and gained triple J Unearthed and community radio rotation. The band also took to the stage playing with Australian pioneers including Flyying Colours and Horror My Friend, and performing at Yours & Owls Festival and a return to Spilt Milk Festival. This year is looking big for Blue Vedder, with an upcoming EP release and AUS-wide touring plans.
